This refund policy explains when and how we offer refunds for subscriptions or purchases made through our app or website.

1. Free to Try
People is free to explore.
You can chat, build characters, and feel the vibe before upgrading.
We encourage you to try the free version before going premium.
2. Subscription Terms
Premium features are available through:
- Monthly or Yearly subscriptions
- Purchasable via the People website, iOS App Store, or Google Play Store
Your subscription auto-renews unless you cancel it before the next billing cycle.
3. Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription anytime through:
- The People website (Account Settings > Subscription)
- Your device's app store (Google Play or Apple App Store)
Canceling stops future charges — but doesn't refund past ones unless you qualify under Section 4.
4. Refunds (When We Do and Don't)
We generally do not offer refunds for:
- Partial subscription periods
- Unused time
- Changing your mind after subscribing
But we may offer a full or partial refund if:
- You were charged due to a technical error
- You couldn't access premium features due to a system issue
- You were charged after canceling
Please contact help@yourpeople.app within 7 days of the issue. We'll review and respond within 3 business days.
5. Where to Request Refunds
a. Website Purchases
Contact help@yourpeople.app with your order email or transaction ID.
b. iOS App Purchases
Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit: reportaproblem.apple.com
c. Android App Purchases
Refunds are handled by Google. Visit: play.google.com
6. Final Notes
- We review all refund requests fairly — but final decisions rest with us or your payment provider
- Abuse of refund requests may result in account restrictions
- If something's broken or unfair, we'll do our best to make it right
